Meet the kids

Adrian (12) and Sebastian (9) are two brothers from the southern part of Norway. Here’s a short presentation of each boy and his interests, to show why we’ve chosen to run the particular fanlistings that we have here at whoa-cool.net.
Adrian has inherited his parents’ collector genes; to him it’s very important to have complete series of toys – the first thing he does when opening a Kinder Egg Surprise is to check which other surprises there are in that particular series. The most careful and caring kid in the world, to our fascination his main interests are anything scary and gruesome; he loves crocodiles, dinosaurs, dragons, sharks, and of course all kinds of villains. Collectible figures and LEGO are awesome by his book, he also loves to draw and to surf the web (this is when “whoa, cool!” is often heard..!). His favourite websites include Google (image search!), YouTube and eBay… His is a huge (Super) Mario fan; he’s collecting figures, builds game scenes in LEGO and has drawn his own board game based on the MarioParty GameCube game. Bowser is his favourite character! His latest crazes are Bakugan, Ninjago LEGO sets, Dinosaur King figures, and making animated films on his DSi.
Sebastian’s favorite toys right now are Star Wars LEGO and action figures, plus he’s quite taken with urban vinyl toys – Dunnies in particular. He has always loved to take apart and assemble anything tiny, like Kinder Egg Surprises and LEGO mini figs, and lately he’s joined his brother in using drawings as a favourite creativity outlet – he’s seldom seen at the kitchen table without a piece of paper and a pencil at hand. Sebastian’s an experienced web surfer since the age of 2, and even before he knew how to read he was a real expert on digging out the games sections of the websites he surfs. Being an aspiring hardcore gamer, Sebastian is hooked up with his DS Lite at any time of the day (and night), and for his 8th birthday he traded the option of having a children’s party for a PS3 console with the LittleBigPlanet game.
Both kids love animated movies, and their DVD and VHS collection has grown to become quite impressive. They’re huge fans of several series, like Pokémon, Adventure Time with Finn and Jake, Chowder, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, and Spongebob Squarepants, and they also love anything Aardman Animations comes up with. They are hooked on the Cartoon Network “reality show” Total Drama Island, and Star Wars Clone Wars is obviously the best thing since sliced bread. They’ve been introduced to some anime besides the usual Pokémon etc., and are particularly taken with the works of Studio Ghibli.
